Hurricanes land at Bakers Hall

Bakers hall jan 31.1938
Forced landing of two Hurricanes at Bakers Hall.
Difficult to read the second letter code which would give the base location.
Possibly photographed during 1938 as the two letter codings were not issued until the mobilisation during the Munich crisis and the codes were first seen on 25 September 1938.
The only squadron with Hurricanes in January 1938 was 111 Squadron based at Northolt , receiving their Hurricanes from December 1937 and was the only Hurricane squadron with them in January 1938.
and although camouflaged, they were not coded.
Later in 1938 number 1 Squadron received Hurricanes from October 1938 and were coded NA and were based at Tangmere 43 Squadron, based at Debden received theirs from December 1938 and were coded NQ 85 Squadron based at Tangmere were received from September 1938 and were coded NO.
I would suggest that the two Hurricanes were probably from 43 Squadron as they are most likely to be flying over East Anglia, the Tangmere aircraft probably flying over the Kent and Sussex area to the south of London.
